Carla Simón has been selected by the TorinoFilmLab for their 2018 ScriptLab. The programme was founded in 2008 and since its inception TorionoFilmLab has supported over fifty projects. In 2016, seven TorinoFilmLab supported films were selected by Cannes Film Festival. Five of which went onto to win major prizes.
This week the annual Polish Academy Award nominations for 2018 were revealed, and 'Loving Vincent' is (or 'Twój Vincent' as it's known in Poland) up for five awards. No stranger to praise, LFS's Head of Production Design, Matthew Button, has been nominated for 'Best Art Direction' for his work as production designer on the film.

Gigi Roccati C. 146 graduation film "CHLOE TRAVELS TIME" won the UNIVERSAL STUDIO CINEMASTER 2005 which gave Gigi a three week internship at Universal and Focus Film in May in LA where he had a chance ot meet top executives and directors. Chloe has been bought by the Sky Channel Universal Studio and has been broadcast.
Mike received his award at the Belgium-based festival beginning of October from Imelda Staunton, Oscar-nominated star of his 2004 drama "VERA DRAKE".
Carlos Armella C. 141 and Pedro Gonzales-Rubio C. 141 have won the Horizontes Award at the 53rd San Sebastian Film Festival this year with their first feature length documentary "TORO NEGRO" (BLACK BULL) directed by them both.
It has also been screened at this year's Toronto International Film Festival receiving great reviews.
