Diego Felipe Reyes Cancino

About

Following a Philosophy degree in Bogotá, Colombia (his hometown) Diego decided to pursue his love for storytelling. A director/producer, he has an interest in developing projects which highlight those aspects of our existence that tend to be overlooked, whether existential, social or political. He believes that cinema (either fiction or not) is an art form that should look into expanding our perceptions of life. He has written and directed short films in which the themes of identity, memory and longing are juxtaposed against uncommon backgrounds. His graduation film The Face is an adaptation of the short-story by the Cuban writer Virgilio Piñera. With the intention of exploring new genres and media he is currently established in London.
