After obtaining his BA in Journalism and Mass Communications at the Baku Slavic University back in Azerbaijan, Orkhan became interested in making documentary films. In the meantime he got involved in advertising business writing and directing TVC’s.  While working as a scriptwriter in a local television company he discovered his passion for directing fiction films and decided to explore the field by doing MA in Filmmaking at  LFS. During his MA he developed his skills as a Writer and Director.
