Born in Milan on the 10th of April 1994, Davide experimented audiovisuals with old camcorders and cultivated passion for author cinema since early age. He started a three-year degree course in Sociology and Social Research in Milan, where he acquired new knowledge and stimuli that enriched his critical eye. He was accepted at the London Film School. Among the first works as a director there was a short social documentary on John, a modern gas-lamplighter. After almost three years, he graduated as a writer-director with a short film shot in Italy, Quasi una Fantasia, a very personal story that tells of memories, changes and family relationships. Davide went back to his country to introduce himself as a young filmmaker to an industry less flourishing than the English one but certainly much more stimulating for a director with a very personal approach.
