About
Kun Sun was born and raised in China and has been a movie-aholic since childhood. She holds a master’s degree in Ethnography and Documentary Film from UCL. Currently, she is finishing her second master’s degree in a director role in Filmmaking at LFS. She has worked as the director, 1st AD, and producer for various short film projects.
Two years of study have brought film within reach, but she understands that the creative process is an endless journey that requires the utmost dedication and a lifelong commitment.

Hua, a female labourer at a stone-cutting factory, adores literature, values solitude, and maintains a secretive relationship with the factory supervisor. Upon discovering a poetry event poster at her cherished old bookstore, she's ignited with a passion for poetry. As bankruptcy and unemployment loom, tensions escalate. The man's control over her intensifies, prompting Hua to make an unexpected choice to safeguard her poetry and spiritual freedom.
