Eligible students starting the MA Filmmaking or MA Screenwriting programme at LFS may be eligible to apply for a postgraduate masters loan. More information on eligibility can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/masters-loan/eligibility
It will be at the student’s discretion to use the loan towards fees, maintenance costs or other costs. The loans are non-means tested and paid directly to the student. The maximum loan amount available will be divided equally into three payments across each year of the course.
Whether or not a student qualifies depends on:
- The course
- The student’s age
- The student’s nationality or residency status
Loans are only available for full, standalone master’s courses and students must be under 60 on the first day of the academic year of the course.
