LFS films in selection for the third consecutive year in a row as graduate film, Praeis recognised at La Cinef

The unprecedented selection of three live action LFS student films over three consecutive years marks a unique achievement in the history of film schools at the Cannes Film Festival.

We recently had the pleasure of speaking with MA Filmmaking graduate and Production Designer, Abigail Quinlan. During her degree, Abigail discovered her love of production design and has since worked in this role on various projects including the award-winning grad film, Blue Note, as well as within the art department of Apple TV’s Criminal Record. Jenne Casarotto has passed away on Friday 1st March 2024, at the age of 77.

Jenne was recently appointed Honorary Associate of London Film School. Jenne Casarotto was the founder of film, television and theatre agency Casarotto Ramsay & Associates Ltd, with Giorgio Casarotto. With a career spanning more than 50 years, Casarotto was an award-winning agent who was highly regarded throughout the world for her impeccable taste in writers and directors, unwavering dedication to her clients and for her calm and creative leadership.

At the end of January, we held our highly anticipated Graduate Showcase. A marvellous week packed with graduate film screenings, pitching, networking and of course, our Graduation Ceremony. Hosted at the British Film Institute in Southbank, we welcomed friends and family of our graduates as well as industry professionals to celebrate their magnificent work and give a wholehearted send off into the next phase of their film careers.
