Keith Northrop is a lawyer who has specialised in film and television production and financing since the early 1990s. He is a consultant with the City firm Goodman Derrick LLP where he heads their Film Group and where his clients include producers, financiers, distributors and directors. Keith has also acted as executive producer on a number of films including David Keating’s The Last of the High Kings and Dave Stewart’s Honest.
He is a director of PKS Productions Limited alongside Peter Urie and Steve Winetroube (former CEO and CFO of Metrodome respectively). Recently established, PKS is in the process of producing films with assured investment and distribution from Metrodome.
Keith has considerable teaching experience, having been a Senior Lecturer on the Bar Vocational Course, as well as an Adjunct Professor of Pepperdine University in California. At the latter, he designed and delivered courses in European Law and in International Entertainment and Copyright Law. He also delivered a number of tutorials on last year’s LFS Fast Forward Programme for film producers.
