Graphic Design for Film & TV
Date: Friday 25th September 2020
This session will explore what it means to be a graphic designer in the film industry. Graphic Designers Camise Oldfield (Wonder Woman, Mission: Impossible- Fallout) and Amy Grewcock (Wonder Woman, Beauty and the Beast) will detail their processes specifically in relation to their work on The Crown. They'll discuss how they tackle various key sets, what depth of detail they go into, and how they deliver graphics that are true to life and aid the storytelling of the episodes or simply blend into the scenes seamlessly. By breaking down an example key set they will explain the layering of seen and unseen graphics that go into creating a realistic environment.
