15TH ANNUAL LSFF SELECTS 5 LFS GRADS & ALUMNI

Congratulations to Aegina Brahim, Hero MacKenzie, Fateme Ahmadi, Christos Massalas, and Benjamin Bee who have all had short films selected for the London Short Film Festival.
 
Aegina and Hero are both recent grads of LFS whose shorts were developed for their grad projects. Benjamin Bee, a 2015 gradute of the MA Filmaking course, will have two films screened at the festival - which will run from the 12th of January 2018 to the 21st.

Aegina Brahim

Summary: Zeola is a single mother whose life alternates between her job as a prison guard and her career as a football referee in the men’s league.

Hero MacKenzie

Summary: The story of a young man who is released from prison ten years on for his crime and seeks redemption from his victim’s daughter.

Fateme Ahmadi
Run Time: 15 mins
Summary: A Romanian single mother has recently escaped from an abusive husband and fled to London to build a better future for her daughter. She's found a job and place to live, but the landlord has a strict "no children allowed" policy. Trapped in an impossible situation, she has to find a way to hide her daughter being in the flat.
 
COPA-LOCA
Christos Massalas
Run Time: 14 mins
Summary: This is the story of Copa-Loca, an abandoned Greek summer resort. Paulina is the girl at the heart of Copa-Loca. Everyone cares for her and she cares about everyone – in every possible way.

MORDECHAI
