London born David Anderson started making films whilst studying a BA in Film & Television at the University of Westminster, graduating with First Class Honours in 2006. After a spell as a freelancer in the film industry David was awarded a Skillset bursary to attend the London Film School. He is graduating as a writer/director with the short film Saturday. During his MA David was very fortunate to be mentored by Ken Loach and spent time on The Angel’s Share, working as 2nd Unit Director on the film’s ‘making of’ – Distilling the Angel’s Share. David’s work is firmly bound to what is happening in the world, focusing on problems caused by social inequality & asking questions of the establishment.
