About
Debjita grew up on a staple of Satyajit Ray and Ritwik Ghatak films. She started off working as an assistant director on feature films in Mumbai before moving to London to do her MA Filmmaking at LFS. Here she developed her skills both as both a director and editor. Uproot is her graduation film and she is currently developing it into a feature length script.
