Tak Fujimoto

Tak Fujimoto is a Japanese-American cinematographer and alumnus of the London Film School, where he trained in the 1960s before beginning a distinguished career in American cinema. He is best known for his long-standing collaboration with director Jonathan Demme, shooting acclaimed films including The Silence of the Lambs, Philadelphia, and Something Wild.

Fujimoto’s work is noted for its naturalistic lighting and strong sense of atmosphere, and he has also collaborated with directors such as Terrence Malick and M. Night Shyamalan.
