Validating partner University of Warwick
Start date September 2026
Course length 1 year

The one-year MA Film Marketing is meant for students who want to shape how films connect with audiences worldwide. Combining creativity, strategy, and commercial insight, the programme prepares you to work at the heart of the global film and streamer industry.

Across five modules, you’ll gain a deep understanding of how the film business operates and how marketing influences every stage of a film’s lifecycle – from development to cinema release and digital distribution. You’ll learn how campaigns are built from the ground up, covering strategy, key art, trailers, advertising, publicity, and social media.

As a student, you’ll join London Film School’s international creative community, collaborating with directors, producers, writers, and cinematographers from more than 50 countries. Based in fully equipped studio buildings in Covent Garden, you’ll study just minutes from leading companies including Universal Studios, BBC, ITV, Netflix, and Amazon, as well as the creative districts of Soho and Clerkenwell.

Successful marketing campaigns require global thinking, collaboration, and leadership. This programme prepares you to step confidently into that space. You’ll graduate with real-world experience in connecting films with audiences, alongside creative and practical skills that open doors into the film and TV industry, and into the wider creative and marketing worlds of consumer product advertising.
