Course Leader MA International Film Business
Victoria Thomas joined the London Film School in 2019 as Course Leader of the MA International Film Business Programme, following work as an independent producer specialising in international co-productions and as a visiting lecturer at several UK institutions. She is the founder of Scotland’s first Black-owned film and TV production company, Republic Of Story, producing shorts and indie features across genres, with projects funded by organisations such as the BBC and BFI and screened at major international festivals. An award-winning screenwriter and experienced industry professional, her work has been recognised by initiatives including the Nicholl Fellowship and The Writers Lab, and she remains active as a producer, writer, and consultant while contributing to festival juries, advisory boards, and teaching.
