REFLECTIONS ON THE COURSE:
"I am trained as a cinematographer, and it was a director friend of mine who reccommended LFS as one of the best schools in the world.
If I had to highlight one element that really made the LFS Summer School for me, it would be my cinematographer on the shoots, Nick. The reason I decided to study directing was to improve my other skills, but it's always hard for me to let go of the camera and put 100% confidence in someone else. In this case, Nick had 200% of my confidence!
I found him to have a very special sensibility and an enormous talent. The shots he created were amazing. They weren't easy; one in particular was a sequence inside a toilet, followed by my actor running down a very tight flight of stairs. The way Nick handled it gave the film a real dramatic tension. For this, LFS is 'genial' in my opinion."

"I'm working as a TV director, putting into practice everything I learned from Udayan at LFS."
