Reflections on the course:
"As someone who already works in the film industry, my biggest fear was that the course would be too basic for me. Fortunately, that wasn't the case. Udayan's course doesn't idle or talk down to its students. It cuts directly through to how to make a good story and covers every discipline -- writing, cinematography, production design, editing, sound -- in a way that is most helpful for a director. Additionally, the units on acting were invaluable and the fact that you get to film multiple scenes means you are able to grow and change within the span of the course. I already knew how to physically make a film.
