About
Hsien Yu is a filmmaker from Taiwan. While she was in Taiwan, she got sponsored by the Forestry Bureau of Taiwan and the Ministry of Science and Technology to create documentaries and short films for environmentally friendly issues. The short film she worked on as a Director of Photography, SANGRE, directed by Marlene Emilia Rios, got selected by San Pedro International Film Festival 2017, the Berlin Flash Film Festival March 2017, and Miami Independent Film Festival April 2017. ZERO, the documentary she shot directed by Emily Maquet got selected by the Journée du Green Documentaire in 2017. Now graduated from the London Film School as a Cinematographer. She is now traveling around the world with film crews as a gaffer and DoP from the UK all the way to Morocco, Italy, India, USA, Taiwan, Hong Kong and China and much more in the future.
