"SOLO" WON AUDIENCES AWARD

Marina Simoes 6th term graduation film "SOLO" has won the Audiences Award at the International Student Film and Video Festival of Beijing Film Academy, 1-7 November 2004.

"ALMOST" WINS GRAND PRIX AT IMAGES 2004, SWITZERLAND

Daniel Mitelpunkt from Israel, LFS Graduate 2003. His film "ALMOST" won the Grand Prix Europeen des Premiers Films, IMAGES 2004, Vevey, Switzerland.

"SHEEPDOG" WINS FIRST PRIZE

Joel Perez Irizarry's Graduation film "SHEEPDOG" has won First Prize for Best Short Film in the Puerto Rico International Film Festival which took place in the Puerto Rico Museum of Art in August. "ATASH" WON THE INTERNATIONAL CRITICS PRIZE AT CANNES

An LFS graduate Avi Kleinburger has just shown his film "ATASH" at the London Film Festival after it had won the International Critics Prize at Cannes in June this year.
