Canneseries Series | Päivi Kotro-Brenner "To learn about series, we need to read scripts, dissect structure, and understand theme"
April saw the return of Canneseries, the major annual TV festival running alongside Cannes. Within the Festival ran Canneseries Institute, a series writing residency which welcomed eight international students to Cannes, from March 5 to April 11, 2019. Two such students proudly came from London Film School – MA Screenwriting grads Greg Simmons and Päivi Kotro-Brenner.
London Film School was voted in Variety's Entertainment Education Report: The Best Films Schools for 2019.
This highly respected digital and print publication, established for 113 years, focuses on business analysis and insights of the entertainment industries, included London Film School for the second time around.

PAULA HUIDOBRO C.140 was DOP on a short film "WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON" Director: Alonso Mayo which has just won a Gold Medal in the "Narrative Category" at the 32nd Annual Student Academy Awards of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, California, USA.
Paula at the moment is specialising in cinematography at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles.

2nd Place Audience Award,
17 Comedy Film Festival of Peñíscola, Spain;
Steven won the BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY AWARD at THE NEW YORK INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL in May for a film he was Director of Photography on called "DO YOU LIKE CHINESE?".
Steven has also just finished his sixth feature film on HD with another ex-student director Tania Meneguzzi C.143.
