Carla Simón wins Cam-a-lot & Filmmore Cinema Emerging Talent Prize for the Best Project

Recent MA Filmmaking graduate Carla Simón has just won the Cam-a-lot & Filmmore Cinema Emerging Talent Prize for the Best Project at the Netherland Film Festival's Holland Film Meeting for her first feature in development, SUMMER 1993. 

Holland Film Meeting is the international heartbeat of the Netherlands Film Festival, providing a series of business-oriented events for attending international professionals. The HFM comprises the Holland Film Meeting Co-Production Platform, professional workshops and panels and the Binger-Screen International Interview. The Holland Film Meeting Co-Production Platform selection comprises approximately twenty brilliant, entertaining and thought-provoking film projects, all ripe for co-production, ready to be presented to some of international cinema's most important and influential financiers, distributors, sales agents and co-producers.

SUMMER 93 was also picked for the Berlinale Script Station where Carla will participate in the Talent Campus, won the SGAE screenwriting fund and was part of the Low Budget Film Forum in Les Arcs (France) this year.
