Daina O. Pusić (MA Filmmaking 2012) and Benjamin Bee (MA Filmmaking 2014) have won at this year's NISI MASA European Short Pitch.
Daina is in pre-production of the European Short Film Pitch winning project BEAST OF BURDEN which she wrote and will direct, the shoot will take place in May of this year. She is also in development on a pilot for a comedy television series, The project won both the audience award and the main prize given by panel of key industry professionals at the BAFTA and Stellar Network TV comedy and drama pitch-up event.
Daina was also a participant of the most recent Low Budget Film Forum where she was in development on her first feature film together with her producer, the BAFTA nominated Len Rowles.

Benjamin is currently in post production on a short he directed, GIRL POWER, produced by Attercop Productions, starring Jason Flemyng, Alice Lowe, Dakota Blue Richards and Laura Patch.
His last film, STEP RIGHT UP (fourth term LFS film), played at over 35 film festivals, picked up 3 awards, nominated for a further 20 and was long-listed for the BAFTA Best Short Film Award 2014. He won the ESP 2014 with his upcoming film WHEELS.
