Congratulations to LFS alumni writer-director Sameer Patel and writer-producer Danny de Warren on their dual nominations for Best Screenplay and Best Comedy at the Screentest National Student Film Festival for their short LONG WALK HOME.
Last year the film played in official selection at Raindance, Acko Slovakia, The Portobello Pop Up Film Festival and the Thurrock International Film Festival where it was also nominated for Best Performance. LONG WALK HOME recently screened at the BFI for the Southwark Arts Forum (SAF) Shorts programme.
The duo were awarded funding from Film London for their recently completed short ON THE BRIDGE and are now developing their debut feature set to shoot in summer 2015.
