Congratulations to Aristotelis Maragkos (MA Filmmaking) and Tom Floyd (MA Screenwriting) whose film project pitch for KAFKA'S COLLECTION OF PORN has won them an award for Best Pitch at the Luxembourg City Film Festival as part of the European Short Pitch Competition.
Marking the 10th anniversary of the event, 20 up and coming short film scripts and 4 works in progress were presented. European Short Pitch is an initiative aimed at promoting the European co-production of short films.
It combines a scriptwriting workshop and a co-production forum bringing together scriptwriters, directors and industry professionals from all over Europe. From the previous editions (2007-2015), around 200 projects were presented that have resulted so far in the making of 75 short films - many of them having a very successful international career.
European Short Pitch is funded by MEDIA program of Creative Europe, the Film Fund Luxembourg and the Lithuanian Film Center.
