An LFS documentary on one of the most iconic films of Indian Cinema

Led by director Natashja Rathore, a current LFS student, a team of LFS students are currently shooting a documentary on Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge (DDLJ) one of the most iconic films in the history of Indian cinema. DDLJ is Natasha's LFS graduation film.

The film is garnering attention from Indian press as it follows one of India's most beloved films. See here for an article in the Times of India. This year the film is celebrating its record-breaking 20th year running in cinemas. The documentary will follow DDLJ's legacy and what exactly has made people fall in love with Raj and Simran for over two decades.

The film will shoot on location in London, Switzerland and India and has just got Yash Raj Films, one of the largest production companies and distributors in Bollywood, on board with the project! They have agreed to give Natashja and her LFS crew access to all archives and rights to use DDLJ materials.
