We are delighted to announce that Closure, a short film by LFS grad Koby Adom, has been selected as part of the official selection for the BAFTA Cymru qualifying Carmarthen Bay Film Festival in Wales. The festival is running from May 9th-13th 2016.
Closure is a short drama detailing the lives of two sisters, their experiences with sexual abuse, and their endeavour to find closure. Two young women Annabelle and Bene have been sexually abused in their foster home as children and have formed a sisterly bond as a result of their traumatic experience that they shared. Although they have both grown up to make a success of themselves, Annabelle finds out that Douglas, their foster father who sexually assaulted them is on his death bed so she tries to convince Bene to come with her to visit him to get closure.
