LFS graduates selected for British Shorts, Premiers Plans and Trail Dance Film Festivals

The London Film School is delighted to announce that several LFS graduation films have been selected to screen at the 9th Lichtspielklub British Shorts Film Festival in Berlin from 21st to 25th January 2016The festival showcases the most exciting short films from the UK and Ireland.

The films selected for British Shorts are Simón Mesa Soto’s award-winning LEIDI, Christine Sherwood’s coming-of-age drama LASHES, Sofia Safonova’s drama TAMARA, Kyla Simone Bruce’s drama THE INTERPETER, Eoin Maher’s romantic drama NO STRINGS, Benjamin Bee’s comedy SEBASTIAN AND THEM and Nora Ballard’s documentary WATERBABIES.

Emre Kayis' THE TRANSLATOR (CEVIERMEN), Sofia Safonova’s TAMARA and Nathan Deming's DOG DAYS have all been selected to screen at the 28th Premiers Plans d'Angers Festival in Paris from 22nd to 31st January.  Deming's film will also screen at the Trail Dance Film Festival in Oklahoma, USA on 30th January.
