MA Filmmaking
"I worked on 24 short films here at LFS. At any other film school, in two years, I don’t think you could achieve that." Jeroen Bogaert. 2012 grad film EARLY BIRDS played Palm Springs, LFF, San Sebastian and Encounters.

Come and study in a working studio, with students from 30 countries, on our intensive two-year postgraduate programme. More info.

MA International Film Business  
This new MA unites LFS with the University of Exeter’s Film department and Business School and includes a research trip to the Berlin Film Festival.  It explores the entire film business, embracing independent film production, financing, sales, distribution and marketing, alongside programming, exhibition and digital strategies for the future. "LFS is a vibrant, hands-on filmmaking environment, producing 160 films a year. Where better to learn about the practical craft of screenwriting?" Mike Leigh (LFS Chairman/graduate)

SERIAL EYES - EXPERIENCING THE WRITERS' ROOM is a unique postgraduate course for writing and producing TV series formats, presented by dffb in collaboration with LFS. More info here.

We continue our free monthly events at the Apple Store Covent Garden. Join writer, producer and London Film School lecturer and mentor Margaret Glover as she explores how to engage with a diverse audience of investors and fans. More info here.

Each term we present a small selection of films made by our MA Filmmaking students, followed by a networking reception. We have a limited number of places available for industry talent-spotters and people interested in studying at the school. To request a place sign up here.

LFS 'Reunion' events 
You can check out highlights of the recent FULL MONTY Reunion event on Hibrow, featuring Peter Cattaneo, Simon Beaufoy, Uberto Pasolini, Hugo Speer and other cast and crew. LFS at 'Creativity is Great' in India


LFS represented the UK film industry at the 'Creativity is Great' event in Hyderabad, India, hosted by the British Deputy High Commission and UKTI. LFS graduate Anu Menon (UK-based director of Bollywood feature LONDON, PARIS, NEW YORK) and Kate Hughes, Head of Marketing, participated in seminars, panel discussions and alumni networking events.
