London Film School named one of the top 15 international film schools by The Hollywood Reporter – again!

We are thrilled to share that the London Film School has once again been recognised as one of the Top 15 International Film Schools by The Hollywood Reporter in its prestigious 2025 annual ranking.

This honour reaffirms what our students, alumni, faculty, and industry partners already know: LFS continues to stand at the forefront of global film education, creativity, and innovation.

Founded in 1956, LFS has long been a powerhouse of cinematic storytelling, nurturing filmmakers from all over the globe and producing alumni whose work resonates on the world stage. From independent gems to Oscar- and BAFTA-winning features, our graduates consistently push the boundaries of cinema.

Being recognised by The Hollywood Reporter – a leading voice in the global entertainment industry – is not just a celebration of the school's ongoing excellence, but also a reflection of the hard work and imagination of our entire community.

At LFS, we believe in immersive, hands-on education where students are encouraged to experiment, collaborate, and discover their unique voices. Our MA degrees in Filmmaking, Screenwriting, Film Marketing, Film Producing and International Film Business are supported by a world-class faculty of working professionals.

With our location in the heart of London’s Covent Garden – a hub for film, television, and post-production – students gain direct access to one of the most vibrant film cultures in the world.

As we continue to evolve and expand – with new partnerships, expanded studio facilities – mission remains the same: to train the next generation of bold, distinctive filmmakers who will shape the future of cinema.

We’re honoured by this recognition from The Hollywood Reporter, and we're proud to share it with our students, staff, alumni, and supporters around the world.
