Elfie Hopkins cast grows with Rupert Evans and Kate Magowan
Ray and Jaime Winstone starring in cannnibal horror film, now shooting.
Rupert Evans and Kate Magowan join Jaime and Ray Winstone as leads in cannibal horror film Elfie Hopkins which started principle photography in west Wales today.
Evans and Magowan will play Mr. and Mrs. Gammon, the heads of a carnivorous family who move into a British rural hunting village and wreak havoc.
“I’m delighted to be able to cast two such great actors – and neither of them are vegetarian!” joked director Ryan Andrews.
Along with the Winstones, Evans and Magowan, the cast also includes Aneurin Barnard, Steven Mackintosh and Kimberley Nixon.
Black and Blue Films and Ray Winstone and Michael Wiggs’ company Size 9 Productions are producing the horror film written, directed and co-produced by Andrews. Billy Murray and Ray Winstone are executive producers.
