
About
Lina was born in Munich, Germany in 1986 and grew up in Rome, London and Berlin. In her late teens she began to work as assistant director and in 2006 produced two short films for American filmmaker Reynold Reynolds which were screened in international festivals including the Berlin Transmediale where Six Apartments won the Distinction Award, 2009.
Between 2007 and 2010, she did her BA in Media and Cultural Studies at the University of the Arts (LCC) in London, assistant produced at Los Angeles based production company Intuition Productions and wrote and directed the short film The Defoliation.
Lina graduated from the London Film School in 2013, where she wrote, directed, produced and edited several short films. Since her graduation she has worked as assistant director for the German feature film Für Immer (Forever) and directed, filmed and edited a documentary for the website of Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.
