About
Maxence Vassilyevitch has always been passionate about the 'frame'. He began his education with journalism studies and a training in photography, which allowed him to exhibit his work in Paris. At the same time, his interest for the theatre brought him in front of the camera or on the stage, where he trained as an actor.
Curious to learn more about arts - and more specifically about the motion picture - he decided to do a BA in Film Studies at the Sorbonne University where he graduated with Merits. In 2007, he studied Scenography for a year at The International School of Jacques Lecoq. In 2008, he created a theatre company La Compagnie du Firmament in order to direct the play he had written, Un Trajet dans la Nuit. The play had a run of three months at a Parisian theatre.
He is now graduating with a MA in Filmmaking from the London Film School.
