About
Alison Weller has spent most of her life pursuing good stories, fictional and true. This obsession led to an undergraduate degree in history and literature from Harvard and a life in the professional theatre. In 2001 she received an MFA in acting from UC San Diego and in 2002 she became an Associate Artist with the New York investigative theater company, The Civilians. With The Civilians she was an original collaborator on the long-lived hit show Gone Missing and the critically acclaimed exploration of Evangelical Christians in Colorado Springs, This Beautiful City.
She and her husband are the co-founders of Flowerbox, LLC and have recently adapted Thomas H. Cook's The Last Talk with Lola Faye for the screen. They are looking for co-producers for Lola and are now developing their next original screenplay. Alison is also working with fellow Fast Forward alum Sean Walpole on her series for television.
