About
Phoenix started out as a well-known TV host and producer for reality and talk shows aimed at young audiences in Vietnam. After four years of working in the industry, he slowly switched to TV dramas and sitcom production.
He put a halt on his TV career to study Filmmaking in the Philippines. After that, he returned to Vietnam and spent two years directing music videos for famous singers and bands. He also made some short films, winning some local awards. He decided to take a course in Screenwriting to further enhance his overall ability as a director.
Right after graduating from LFS, Phoenix returned to Vietnam to begin working on a major feature film project named Flapping In The Middle of Nowhere as an editor, as well as planning pre-production for another independent feature film as co-producer/AD. Alongside this he continues to develop his own scripts.
