
About
Mariam Al Sarkal graduated from the Higher Colleges of Technology in Visual Communications with Distinction, Highest Honor, 2006. She started working at Dubai Media Incorporated at the age of 19 and worked as an assistant director for a year on a variety of live and recorded shows. She then got her break by directing her first recorded show at the age of 20, making her the youngest female TV Director at that time.
After 4 years of TV work, she decided to explore other media aspects and worked on an interactive user generated TV concept. She was appointed the Deputy CEO of shooftv.com. After that, she became a founding member of a competition called Sheikh Majid Media Youth competition where she was responsible for all the contestants, media coverage and directing live shows and recorded segments.
