Michael Dorgan

About

Michael Dorgan is a South Africa-born British writer/director. Having finished a History degree, he turned to film. During his time at the LFS he has made four films as writer/director and three as cinematographer. As a writer/director he has covered genres as diverse as comedy, action and thriller. His films have been shown at festivals worldwide. His 4th term film, The Career Comedian, was shown in the UK, Australia and New Zealand, while his 5th term work as cinematographer was shown at, amongst others, Edinburgh IFF, Palm Springs ShortFest and London Short Film Festival. He is currently making a TV documentary about whether running is actually good for you.
