Francisco was born in Lisbon, Portugal in 1989. He started making films whilst studying a degree in Film & Television at the University Lusofona, Portugal.

He worked for a major production company in Portugal where he had the opportunity to direct commercials and short films. With the need to further develop his skills as a director and screenwriter, he moved to London to study at the London Film School.

He is graduating as a writer/director with the short film Rosa.
