Jannicke was born in Norway and spent most of her life on an island outside Oslo. After trying out Media Studies for a year, she decided to move to England in 2008 to do a BA Film Studies at Kingston University.

After graduating from Kingston, she moved on to do her MA Filmmaking at the London Film School and she is now looking to advance herself within the film industry in London.
