Born in Geneva in 1989, Elsa Bauverd grew up in the French speaking part of Switzerland in a half Spanish, half Austrian home. After a BA in Philosophy and Film at the University of Southampton, she was accepted into the London Film School in 2011.
Her graduation film Osmonde was completed in April 2014 and has been selected to screen at the 2014 Austin Film Festival. Now based in Paris, she is currently directing a commissioned documentary in Switzerland about writer C.F. Ramuz.
