Andreas Reksten was born in the western part of Norway in 1983. He grew up in several places around Norway before starting his studies at the University of Bergen in 2003. After three years he completed his Bachelor studies in Film & TV Production and started working as a promo producer at Norway ́s largest commercial TV company TV 2 Norway. Here he produced, directed and edited promos in sports, news and entertainment for three years until starting the MA Filmmaking course at London Film School in 2010. 

He has continued working as a promo producer while studying at LFS. Now, he works as a senior producer and director at TV 2 Norway´s promo department.
