Rebecca Hobbs

About

Rebecca initially trained as a lawyer, before leaving to study acting at the NZ Drama School. From there, she worked as a an actress and writer in New Zealand and Australia and directed a short film TICK, which premiered at the New York Film Festival, before moving to London where she found herself lured into the murky world of development. 

Having spent several years as Director of Development for the Disney Channels, Rebecca decided to return to writing, and attended the London Film School as a way of hothousing herself back into writing practice. She intends to direct again, and is currently working on her writing portfolio.
