Elie Choufany graduated from the MA Screenwriting course at the London Film School in September 2014. He received his BA Filmmaking from the Holy Spirit University in Kaslik, Lebanon and then attended several workshops both in Lebanon and Los Angeles including Directing for Film, Cinematography, and Writing for Film and TV at The New York Film Academy.

Besides working as a cinematographer, his passion for film and TV landed him several other jobs that explore the different aspects of filmmaking, including directing commercials, editing TV shows, filming documentaries and working on music videos.

In addition, Elie spent the last two years learning Japanese because of his incredible interest in the culture and immersed himself in cultural events that would spread awareness throughout Lebanon.

He is currently working on several feature films between the US, Dubai and Lebanon and is developing a television serial in Beirut.
