A professional photographer since 1990, Christine has lived in Hong Kong, Paris and Mexico, specialising in action/sports reportage for editorials including GQ, Esquire and Condé Nast Traveller. After graduating as a cinematographer from The London Film School, she was mentored by Academy Award nominee, Barry Ackroyd BSC who continues to support her work. Her films have premiered at Locarno, Cottbus and Clermont-Ferrand Film Festivals and she was nominated for Best Cinematography at Emir Kusturica’s Küstendorf Film Festival in 2012. She is alumni of the Berlinale Talents and is looking for her first feature to light.

A member of Directors UK, Christine is also a self-shooting director producing documentary, corporate, and children’s short films for clients that include The English National Opera. She is in the process of setting up her own production company.

She has written three screenplays, one of which, Desert Son, was a semi-finalist at the Nevada Film Office Screenplay competition and her short script, Slight Return, was recently shortlisted in the Euroscript/Underwire Film Festival 2013 script competition. 

It is Christine’s ambition to self-shoot feature films in the manner of Robert Rodriguez and Steven Soderbergh and to this end she is currently in post-production with her third screenplay (working title CNE), her first micro-budget feature shot in February 2014.
