
About
Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Ricardo moved to London in 2012 for an MA in Filmmaking. With a particular focus on editing, the short films he worked for won several major awards, including the 2014 Cannes Short Film Palm D'or (LEIDI, Simon Mesa Soto) and two consecutive Best UK Short at the LSFF in 2015 (LEIDI) and 2016 (TAMARA, Sofia Safonova). He also edited the 2015 Locarno nominated KM 73 (Radu Ghelbereu) and the 2015 EFA nominated THE TRANSLATOR (Emre Kayis). In 2015, Ricardo was selected to join the prestigious Talent Campus at the 65th Berlinale Film Festival.
