About
Born in Tehran, Iran in 1981, Ali Jaberansari moved to Vancouver, Canada with his family in his teens. After studying computer science at university he spent 2007 attending Abbas Kiarostami's filmmaking workshops in Tehran and decided to pursue his real passion for making films. His resolve was strengthened when he was accepted into the MA Filmmaking program at the London Film School from which he graduated in 2011 with a distinction specialising in directing and editing.
