In 2008, the last film Raz wrote before studying at the London Film School, broke records to become the Philippines’ third highest-grossing local movie of all time.In 2009 that movie's sequel became number one. That same year, while in the UK finishing his MA, he was awarded most popular screenwriter. His LFS third term documentary also won him as award from the Cultural Centre of the Philippines. Raz now works as a director for the biggest film company and television network in his home country. His first feature film was released November 2011.
