Elephants

16-year-old Abi has a limited ability to distinguish fantasy from reality. Every night as she tries to sleep, she hears Rita and Rita's husband fighting above her. In the alchemy of imagination, insomnia and projection she fabricates a picture of the large imposing woman beating her diminutive husband. When Abi's mother dispatches her with a message for the upstairs flat, Abi sees a very different picture.
