Sameer Patel is a London based filmmaker. Whilst at University his films were selected for the London Student Film Festival and won competitions organised by BAFTA, Festival Republic and has collaborated with the English National Opera to film a mini opera. 'I like to tell stories about this city as I have lived here all my life and I feel it is not fully represented in film and TV'. Before attending film school Sameer was a features script writer, having sold one of his features to Roundhouse films and worked in film finance.
