Christopher Manning earned a BA in History from Columbia University in New York before studying filmmaking at the London Film School. His debut short film JAMIE was one of five films selected to take part in the BFI Flare/British Council's 2017 #fiveFilms4freedom campaign, and won the Alternative Spirit Award at the 2016 BAFTA/OSCAR-qualifying Flickers' Rhode Island International Film Festival before going on to screen at over 50 festivals worldwide. His graduation film ISHA premiered at the BFI London Film Festival in October 2018 and is nominated for 'Best British Short' at the 2019 London Short Film Festival. Christopher is a BFI Network x BAFTA Crew scheme participant, and an Alumnus of the Telluride Film Festival's Student Symposium.
