Luc Mollinger


Luc has directed British talent including Daniel Kaluuya, Tamsin Egerton, Samuel Barnett and Gemma Redgrave. His previous LFS short film, Specimen, screened in the BFI London Flare Festival and other international festivals. Luc has also directed for the stage in the UK, notably programming and staging the Coronation Festival Gala at Buckingham Palace – an outdoor, multimedia concert for The Queen and an audience of 20,000, broadcast to a BBC1 audience of 7 million. He has worked variously in production at the BBC, and casting in Australia. Luc currently is currently writing a feature film and developing a series project.

A village misfit and his brother find an extraordinary beast in their fishing net and seizing their chance for fame and fortune, hide it in the local aquarium. But their dreams capsize as it stirs up their own personal monsters. Inspired by a Cornish folk tale and channelled through the lens of contemporary, coastal Britain.
